Going well so far

This is Barwon Heads where Archie had his first successful fishing trip.  The shops are really nice, with some lovely coffee shops, the boys go fishing and the girl's enjoy a walk around the town to get the coffee or so he thinks!!!!

The gruesome twosome about to brave the waves, notice the extra bodyboard in the background.  Rachael made it into the water but as I was having a surfing lesson elsewhere we have no evidence of this or my attempt to stand on a surf board!!!  There were no screams heard as Rachael entered the water as it was surprisingly warm!!!

The kids made their own kites and then got to fly them on saturday morning down at the foreshore in Torquay, there we loads of kids and kites. Archie being Archie decided, it would be a good idea to run around with his kite and nearly destroyed the whole event, by wrapping his kite around every other.!!!

While he was not moving!!

As you can see he is a natural, first cast and he catches a Australia Salmon, only a baby but hopefully good eating.

Big week

A lot has happened since we last blogged, I have now been at work for over a week, Evie has had her 9th birthday and the kids have both started school. Everything is going well at work, all different apart from the teeth, seems Ozzy teeth are the same. Evie convinced us that it was a good idea for them not to go to school until after her birthday, at times we wished we had not agreed but they just about managed to get there in one piece!!

They do get on sometimes!!
In bed opening presents on her birthday.

one very spoilt little girl!

The now nine year old posing at Lorne beach, a lovely little town on the Great Ocean Road which has to be the number one driving experience, if Top Gear is listening.

They are collecting shells, we now have half a beach on the front drive.

At Evie's request we met David and Laura at Werribee open zoo the day before her birthday.

David my cousin leading my son astray, the kangaroos didn't half jump when Archie threw some food at them but not as quick as David and Archie moved!!

Tarzan or so he thought.

Amazing experience, feeding time for the lions but only inches from your face.

Two uniforms for their first day at school, didn't know which was best to wear!!
They had a great time and really enjoyed it.
